Gate Compatibility
Gate integration connects Brynlock to the physical access-control hardware at a facility, so lease events trigger gate actions automatically instead of requiring an operator to change codes by hand. Noke, DoorKing, and OpenTech CIA are supported today, with PTI next via the Seam SDK.
Noke Smart Entry, DoorKing, and OpenTech CIA are live today. Units unlock on lease activation, auto-overlock when a tenant goes delinquent, and release the moment payment clears. PTI integration via the Seam SDK is in active development.
Gate codes are stored in your account from day one. Noke facilities get automated provisioning, overlock, and release out of the box. Manual code entry is available on any hardware while other integrations ship.

How gate integration works
Lease created or signed
When an operator creates a lease or a tenant completes the online rental flow, a gate code is generated and stored on the tenant record.
Code provisioned automatically
For connected gate systems, the code is pushed to the gate controller in real time. No manual entry required.
Access revoked on delinquency
When a tenant enters delinquent status, gate access is revoked automatically. The threshold is configurable per facility.
Access revoked on move-out
When a lease is terminated, the gate code is revoked and the access log is preserved in the tenant's record.

Gate integration links Brynlock to a facility's physical access-control hardware, so lease events automatically trigger gate actions. When a lease is signed, a code is provisioned; when a tenant becomes delinquent, access is revoked; when payment clears, access is restored. None of it needs a manual gate-code change.
How do I connect my gate system?
Connection depends on your hardware. Noke, DoorKing, and OpenTech CIA facilities connect via each vendor's API (the Noke REST API or the Seam SDK), typically during onboarding. If your gate system isn't listed below, manual code entry works on any hardware while the integration ships.
Does gate integration cost extra?
No. Gate integration is included in the flat $0.50/unit price; there is no separate add-on fee for Noke, DoorKing, OpenTech CIA, or the in-development PTI integration. See Pricing for the full list of what's included.
What happens to gate access if a tenant becomes delinquent?
Gate access is revoked when a tenant enters delinquent status; the delinquency threshold is configurable per facility. Access is restored the moment payment clears, without an operator changing codes by hand.
What if my gate system isn't listed?
Manual code entry works on any gate hardware while a native integration is pending. Brynlock prioritizes new integrations based on operator demand. If your system isn't listed, let us know and it will factor into the roadmap.
