Cancellation policy

Cancel anytime, no fee, no call

Cancel directly from the billing settings page. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term, and nobody will ask you to get on a retention call. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Data remains exportable for 30 days post-cancellation before deletion.

60-day money-back guarantee

Most recent payment refunded within 60 days of signup if Brynlock doesn’t pay for itself

If within 60 days of creating your account Brynlock has not saved more than it has cost in subscription fees, request a refund of your most recent subscription payment in one click from billing settings, which also cancels the subscription. The refund covers subscription fees only (Stripe processing fees are passed through at cost). Documented in the Terms of Service, §4.

No vendor lock-in

Standard formats, open exports, your data leaves with you

Tenant records, lease history, payment data, and audit logs export as CSV using column names that map cleanly to SiteLink, Unit Trac, Storable, and other storage software import formats. Brynlock does not use proprietary export formats designed to slow migration.

Common questions

What is Brynlock's uptime target?

Brynlock targets 99.9% monthly uptime across the application, payment processing, and tenant portal. This is an operating target, not a contractual SLA, so no service credits are issued if it is missed. Live status is at /status.

How long does a data export take?

Exports are instant. Brynlock generates a CSV from your live database when you request it from account settings. There is no batch process and no support ticket.

Is there a cancellation fee?

No. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum contract term, and you will not be asked to sit through a retention call. Cancel directly from billing settings; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

How does the 60-day money-back guarantee work?

Within 60 days of creating your account, if Brynlock has not saved you more than it has cost in subscription fees, request a refund of your most recent subscription payment in one click from billing settings; the subscription is cancelled at the same time. The refund covers subscription fees only; Stripe processing fees are passed through at cost and are not refunded. Documented in Terms of Service §4.

Does Brynlock use a proprietary data format?

No. All exports use CSV with column names that map cleanly to SiteLink, Unit Trac, Storable, and other storage software import formats. If you migrate away, your data goes with you in a standard format.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Data remains available for CSV export for 30 days after subscription cancellation. After that 30-day window, facility and tenant data are permanently deleted from production databases per the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service §5.
