Switch from SiteLink to Brynlock
Export your data from SiteLink, Unit Trac, or a spreadsheet. The import takes about an hour, and you never edit the spreadsheet.
Log in to SiteLink Web Edition
Navigate to your SiteLink portal. If you use SiteLink Express, the export path is similar but menus may differ slightly.
Go to Reports
Click "Reports" in the top menu bar, then select "Standard Reports."
Run the Lease Summary Report
Search for "Lease Summary" or "Occupancy Report." This single report includes unit details, tenant name, email, phone, and move-in date, which is everything you need.
Export as CSV
Click "Export" → "CSV / Excel." Save the file. If prompted for a date range, select "All dates."
Upload in Brynlock
Go to Dashboard → Import Data, upload the CSV. Brynlock auto-detects SiteLink column names. Review the column mapping, then confirm the import.

What happens during import
Before you import
- Export includes vacants and occupied; both import correctly
- If tenant email is missing, a placeholder is used. Update it after import
- Payment history does not transfer (your old software keeps that record)
- Gate codes are provisioned after import. Noke, DoorKing, and OpenTech CIA integrations are live; PTI is in development
- Run the import on a test account first if you have any uncertainty
